train your brain with
binaural beats
Binaural beats involve the simultaneous presentation of two different tones, one tone in the left ear, and a different tone in the right ear. When your brain processes these two different tones, it creates a third tone, known as the binaural beat. They are often used to help train the brain to relax, focus or deal with types of anxiety. Similar to our brain waves there are 5 main types of binaural beat frequencies:
Delta (1-4hz) - deep, restorative sleep
Theta (5 - 8 hz) daydreaming, relaxed alertness, light sleeping
Alpha (9-13hz) - calming, casual focus, stress reduction
Beta (14-38hz) - heightened focus, concentration, decision-making, anxiety
Gamma (39-80hz) - cognitive, memory and focus
Binaural beats are a popular genre of calming music scientifically designed for wellness.
While most binaural beats sound fairly similar, I use calming acoustic guitar and nature foley into my recordings to make them feel immersive and organic.
